National airline Maldivian to commence international flight operations from Maafaru International Airport.
Flights from Maafaru International Airport, Maafaru, Maldives to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, India will begin from 13th April. The airline will operate weekly three flights.
“The national airline played a significant role during the pandemic and our objective is to spread our wings further and to be able to assist our communities and to the economy” said Aishath Jennifer, Maldivian DMD
Maldivian would be bringing wide body jet aircraft the Airbus A330 by May this year according to Managing Director Mihad.
International flights are presently primarily operated on the narrow-body Airbus A320 and A321.
