National airline Maldivian’s flight to its newest destination New Delhi is set to commence today.
Flight Q2 730 is scheduled to depart from Velana International Airport this afternoon at 14:55.
Maldives has become a popular tourist destination for Indian tourists in recent years.
Indian carriers Air India, Indigo, and Go First all operate flights from New Delhi and other cities from India.
Maldivian at present operates flights to Trivandrum and Cochin in India along with flights to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
