Maldivian Seaplane Departs to India again for seaplane operations


A team of Maldivian pilots, cabin crew, and engineers depart to India to resume seaplane operations for the third time.



The DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter, 8Q-ISC returned to the Maldives to carry out mandatory maintenance.


Seaplane operations were started in India last October by Spice jet airline with assistance from national airline Maldives.

Spice jet schedules two daily flights between the Statue of Unity near Kevadiya in Gujarat's Narmada district and the Sabarmati riverfront.
