Indian national flag carrier Air India resumed flights to the Maldives this week on 28th July with the first flight operated from Mumbai to Male’.
Air India will be operating nonstop direct flights from Mumbai twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Passengers from Delhi can book a connecting flight on the same day to join the flight from Mumbai to Male’.
Air India will also operate flights from Bangalore with a stopover in Thiruvananthapuram every Monday and Thursday starting 29th July.
Air India’s subsidiary budget airliner Air India Express will begin flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Trichy, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Chennai starting this August.
Indian carriers have resumed flights to the Maldives following the lift of the travel ban on travelers from South Asian countries on July 15th.
