Ibrahim Siyad Qasim Has Been Appointed As A Board Member Of MACL

Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) which operates Velana International Airport has appointed Mr. Ibrahim Siyad Qasim as its newest board member.

Changes are made to state owned enterprises the Privatization and Corporatization Board following) instruction from the President's Office.

Mr. Ibrahim Siyad Qasim is also a board member of Villa Air Pvt Ltd and also he’s the Managing Director and a shareholder of Villa Holdings Pvt Ltd which owns Villa Air.

The current chairmen of the MACL board is Mohamed Umar Manik, and the remaining board members are; Dr. Ibrahim Mahfooz, Ibrahim Noordeen, Aishath Arsha, and Ahamed Iman Moosa.

Earlier in November, the companies Managing Director Mr. Gordon Andrew Stewart was removed from his post and the position currently remains vacant.
