Turkish Airlines Conducted Over 1,500 Relief Flights Following The Earthquake

Turkish Airlines has conducted over 1,500 relief flights following the earthquake.



Turkish airlines have announced the carrier has evacuated 280,000 affected residents while bringing in over 285,000 relief workers in 1,500 relief flights operated since following the earthquake.


The disaster relief efforts the airline has undertaken have been in coordination with the country's Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).


The carrier has also carried 11,000 tons of relief supplies on 192 cargo flights which consist of food, water, medical and sanitation supplies, tents, and blankets.
