A Honda HA-420 HondaJet crashed into the waters of the Pacific Ocean after overrunning the runway at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend, Oregon.

The aircraft, which carried four passengers and one crew member, came to a stop approximately 100 feet beyond the east end of the runway. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene, securing the plane and rescuing all onboard. The passengers and crew were taken to a local hospital, though their current conditions remain undisclosed.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will lead an investigation into the incident and has authorized the removal of the aircraft from the water for closer examination. The plane will be stored near the crash site for this purpose.
Following the crash, United Express temporarily suspended commercial air service at the airport until the jet is removed from the bay.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the overrun, and more details are expected as the investigation proceeds. Multiple agencies, including aircraft rescue teams, local fire departments, and police, were involved in the emergency efforts surrounding the incident.
