Qatar Airways, recently crowned the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2024, is set to enhance its flight offerings to several major global destinations for the 2024-2025 winter season. The airline will introduce additional flights to London, Male, Miami, and Tokyo, catering to the growing demand from international travelers.
Increased Flights to London
Starting October 27, 2024, Qatar Airways will add an eighth daily flight to London Heathrow (LHR), increasing the total weekly flights from 49 to 56. This expansion will provide over 42,000 seats per week each way.
Alongside British Airways’ two daily flights, there will be 10 daily flights between Doha and London Heathrow. The new flights are now open for booking, benefiting travelers from Australia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UK.
Enhanced Connectivity to Male
From December 13, 2024, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Male (MLE) from 21 to 28 weekly flights. This boost in frequency aims to accommodate travelers from Germany, Italy, and the UK seeking idyllic holidays in the Maldives. The flights will operate daily, offering convenient travel options for holidaymakers.
More Flights to Miami
Starting December 16, 2024, the airline will increase its flights to Miami (MIA) from 10 to 12 weekly flights. This enhancement will provide more opportunities for travelers from Miami to explore destinations such as Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The additional flights will operate every Monday and Wednesday.
Expanded Services to Tokyo
Beginning February 14, 2025, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Tokyo Narita (NRT) from seven to 11 weekly flights. This expansion will offer more options for travelers from Europe and beyond to experience the rich cultural heritage of Tokyo. The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Doha to Tokyo, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Tokyo to Doha.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, emphasized the airline’s dedication to meeting passenger needs:
