In a move that redefines the travel experience in Qatar, Discover Qatar has announced the launch of its exclusive ‘Discover Doha by Air’ seaplane flights.
The seaplane flights, which are set to commence on June 27, 2024, will provide passengers with a 45-minute tour showcasing Doha’s most iconic landmarks and stunning landscapes.
The journey begins at the Doha International Airport Premium Terminal, where guests will board the Cessna 208 Caravan, a single-engine light turboprop utility aircraft renowned for its comfort and panoramic viewing windows.
As the aircraft takes off, passengers will be treated to an aerial spectacle of Doha’s architectural marvels, including the Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone, and Education City. The tour continues over the Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, and the verdant Thakira Mangrove Forest, offering a glimpse into Qatar’s natural and cultural heritage.
The flight path also includes flybys over The Pearl, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village, and West Bay, culminating with a grand aerial view of the Doha Corniche, National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, and Stadium 9741.
For those interested in partaking in this aerial adventure, bookings are now open. The experience is also available for passengers transiting through Hamad International Airport for six or more hours, with private return transfers included.
