Maldivian Commencing Flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka Tonight


Maldivian, the National carrier of the Maldives is set to inaugurate direct flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka, commencing tonight, April 25th, 2024. This strategic initiative underscores Maldivian’s unwavering commitment to enhancing connectivity between the Maldives and neighboring international hubs.

Mr. Ibrahim Iyas, the Managing Director of Maldivian earlier expressed his enthusiasm for this significant milestone, stating, “We have eagerly awaited the opportunity to serve Colombo, bridging the geographical gap between the Maldives and Sri Lanka. This expansion not only strengthens our international network but also reinforces our dedication to connecting the Maldives with the global community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the authorities and partners who have supported the realization of this new route.”
