Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) seeking to dry lease two Airbus A330-200s for a period of 6 years.
Prior to the pandemic Maldivian had a fleet of one Airbus A320 and one A321 operating scheduled flights to Bangladesh, Thailand and China.
Maldivians has already returned the Airbus A321 following the end of lease period and presently operates with just the one A320. The carrier is currently seeking to dry lease two Airbus A330-200s for a period of 6 years.

Airbus A330-200
The Airbus A330-200 is the shortened, longer-range variant of the A330 which entered service in 1998.
With 253 passengers in a three-class configuration, the typical range of the A330-200 is 13,400 km (7,240 nmi; 8,330 mi).
The A330-200's wing was also modified with the structural strengthening of the wing allowing the maximum takeoff weight of the −200 to be increased to 229.8 tonnes (507,000 lb).
As of December 2020, 661 of the −200 had been ordered, 645 of which had been delivered, with 600 aircraft in operation.
